The old Ritz Carlton Hotel in Double Bay was the proposed site for this high-end development.
Architecturally our approach was to create an active retail zone on the ground floor surrounding an open-air square. Above this would be two 9-single level apartment towers and a third 7-storey apartment tower adjacent to the podium.
The spacious, luxuriously appointed apartments had expansive North facing balconies with breathtaking uninterrupted harbour views. Plans also featured a 70-room upmarket hotel with restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gym and a spa on the top podium level. The basements included plant and garages.
The Hotel Residences were marketed with unparalleled exclusively personalised amenities including Concierge, elite Butler Service, Valet, Travel Service, Limousine Service, Gymnasium, House Cleaning, Pet Care, Chefs Dining and Personal Training.
The project was shelved by the developer following planning refusal.
